In 1997, Avtar Singh Thind founded his first trucking enterprise in Alberta. Over the following decades he built it into an international logistics, construction, and commodity-trading group — culminating in the founding of Sandook Enterprises Private Limited in 2023, together with his son Gurpreet.
Today, Sandook operates from two geographies — head office in Ludhiana, India, and an international base across Edmonton and Toronto — bridging the supply side of global commodity flows with institutional buyers in government, agriculture, energy, and infrastructure.
