SANDOOK
Worth keeping. Worth carrying.
The word began as ṣundūq — the carved chest a Persian family kept its treasures in. It rode the caravans west and east, changed its sound in every bazaar, and settled in Punjab as ਸੰਦੂਕ: the chest in every home that had something worth keeping.
The seal is that chest, struck in wax the way a letter was once sealed — the house's promise that what is inside was packed with discipline, and will open intact on the other side of the world. The globe is the road; the key is the keeping of it.
What it carries
The oils and everything that travels — the pressed oils in their tins and glass, and the trade sacks of the northern field.
On the record
Registered in Class 29 — the name and the emblem alike, a registered mark of this house.
