The Food House Crossing
Cold-pressed oils, creamed honey and masala chai — the food house range, carried to licensed importers who clear it as their own.
The premium food range — cold-pressed oils in glass and tin, creamed honey in glass, masala chai in nitrogen-flushed tins — packed in Punjab under the SANDOOK and BAROTA marks, in the large formats the house leads with and the retail sizes beside them. Nothing travels until it has been tasted: the Sample Chest goes first.
Every batch carries its laboratory paper: a gas-chromatography certificate holding the canola's erucic acid at or under 2%, NMR purity reports behind the honey, and the cracked-and-blended date printed on every chai tin. Packing runs under the house's Indian food and export licences, and the batch number on the pack is the batch number on the certificate.
Sold CIF to the importer's port. The importer of record is a licensed distributor — in Canada, a Safe Food for Canadians licence holder — who clears and carries the goods in their own market; the house sells and ships, and does not import. Prices are issued from the house desk against a Letter of Intent.
