The Traveller's Tin
High-spec refined soybean oil in 20-litre tins, shipped under the house's own licences to an importer in England.
Refined soybean oil, refined in India to a high specification — free fatty acid at or under 0.1%, peroxide at or under 2 meq/kg at packing, moisture at or under 0.1%. It travels in 20-litre tinplate tins — the standard square blank — wearing one SANDOOK label. A 20-foot container carries roughly 850 to 900 tins, about sixteen tonnes of oil, packed to the house standard: leak-proof, sealed, dated, and batch-tied to its lab certificate.
Every batch is lab-certified before it moves; the certificate of analysis travels with the documents, not after them. The shipment moves under the house's own Indian export licences, with the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading issued in one set. Payment follows the house rule: an advance on the signed price agreement, the balance against scanned shipping documents before the originals are released.
Sold CIF Felixstowe to the importer of record. The oil clears under HS 1507 9090 00 at 8% duty under the UK Global Tariff, with VAT at 0% — and as a fully refined oil it is exempt from soya allergen declaration. The price for the lane is issued from the house desk against a Letter of Intent; the house does not publish prices.
